Can you post a close up of your hub/ tensioner?? I cannot figure out how I could put one in there... it seems impossible ! Are you ffw?? Part of me wants to retire the hope to my 650b and put new trialtech rims and ffw situation on there..

Yes FFW. using a Heatsink tensioner and trialtech sport lite hub (the one with one m10 bolt and one m6). The hub has extra 3mm washers on the axle (remove for snail cams), I removed only the drive side one and bolted the tensioner in its place. hard to see but I also added a thin steel washer between the tensioner and the chain stay to keep from smashing the thin tensioner aluminum into the dropouts.

I'm getting 'bike envy' with all these pictures... I can see ANOTHER purchase happening soon... Here is a shot while I was practicing last night. I'm just getting to where I can hop around on the rear wheel. At 55 years old, I better 'get after this' now if I am going to be able to pull off anything worthy of a cool video!!

gnarly!

WHOA! I got off easy the other day... just some deep scratches and painful bruising. That's rough.. Thanks for the graphic reminder: After seeing that, I will NOT be tempted to leave the pads off 'just this once'..

This weekend I completely blew up my front wheel and need it go make it through this weekend before more parts come.

So after smacking the crap out of it to get it even slightly straight I had to break out my handy park tool big boy truing wrenches. It fits between the fork legs now, thankfully it's a disc wheel.

"Gotta start somewhere" - I just took 5 mins and built this training tool. I'm going to start hopping on, off and over this "stand" - Then, tomorrow morning I am picking up 20 pallets. Here we go!! (When the wife gets back from her travels; oh boy...) ;-)

  • If you've got balance you should ride your bike on a slackline! ... right? The snow chased us indoors last weekend so we tried the slackline again, but almost twice as long this time at just over 25 feet! it was Way harder! and regular trials stuff too.
  • Hey everyone. I wanted to let you all know that I have a new riding video out on you tube. If you want to see a blind guy ride a bike over some crazy things than check the link below. Also if you are interested in supporting me further, you can check out my go fund me page as well. I am in the process of transitioning from a bike mechanic to a full time motivational speaker. All is explained at the link below. Anything that you can help with, weather you just share this post or if you are able to donate... Its greatly appreciated. I thank everyone that has been supporting me and following my trial's riding over the years. Dong worry, I will be riding and posting up videos as long as I am not broken. https://www.gofundme.com/vision-is-more-than-sight Link The new video link below. https://youtu.be/KHSJu-HjupQ
