Monty
Josef Dressler's white Monty 231 X-Track. A couple of the
Czech riders had these bikes; identical frames to X-lite.
Ot Pi's Monty 231. Mostly standard except what looked like a
road bike rear hub, some drilled components (stem, rear rim) and a
Mavic 517 front rim.
Every 26" rider should own these tyres. Monty 26" versions of
their world beating 20" tyre. If Ot wins Master this year (which
he's rapidly heading for) these tyres helped him get there. The
black tape conceals two holes; stronger than one large hole but
still saving weight.
2001 Monty 231 is identical in all but colour to this year's
model.
Only availble in this shade of blue, if I understood the
Spanish shop owner correctly!
