Shimano XT disc brake in front... The frame looks like a Monty X-Lite, but it's not... It has a higher bottom bracket, shorter chainstays, and a little more reinforcement... Thanks for the correction, Duncan!

Michelin Downhill tire in the rear (same tire Jeff Lenosky raves about, which was quite popular, especially on the French rider's bikes... Unfortunately no longer in production, I've heard...)
